2023: Atiku’s group coordinator, Bosede Salami, calls for peaceful campaigns, elections

The coordinator of Atikulated Global Movement (AGM), Ondo State chapter, Hon. Abosede Agbaje Salami, has urged politicians in the country to engage in peaceful campaigns ahead of the 2023 general election.

AGM is one of the groups canvassing for the election of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, in 2023.

The AGM coordinator, while speaking to newsmen in Idanre, the headquarters of Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State on Wednesday, urged the electorate to vote for a president who would be able to fix the nation’s socio-economic and political challenges.

Salami, who is also the coordinator of the group in Idanre Local Government, stated that peaceful electioneering campaigns and elections would allow the people to elect good representatives that would develop the country.

The former Ondo State House of Assembly aspirant assured Nigerians that Atiku, if elected as president in the 2023 presidential election, would usher in a new Nigeria the citizens hope for.

She stressed that with the experience of the PDP presidential candidate as a Vice President for eight years, he would be able rescue the nation’s economy and provide enabling environment that would cushion the current economic hardship in the country.

Salami stated that the AGM, in the quest for ensuring the success of PDP in Ondo State, has assembled credible politicians to coordinate the activities of the group in the 18 local government areas of the state.

Among the politicians appointed by the group to coordinate its activities ahead of the next year’s general election include Hon. Adeoba Johnson in Ileoluji/ Okeigbo /Odigbo Federal Constituency; a former House of Representatives member, Mrs Yemi Ese, in Ileoluji Okeigbo/ Odigbo Federal Constituency; Hon. Orimoloye Sabiu, MHA Aspirant in Owo Constituency; Mr Azeez Kazeem Owo Consistucy 1, Assistant Coordinator; and Hon. Ijalana Olabode, Assistant Coordinator, Owo LG.

Others are Hon. Afolami Olabomi, coordinator and sponsor of AGM’s activities in four Akoko Local Governments; Hon. Olukayode Folagbade, Assistant Coordinator of Akoko North West 1 Constituency; Mr Babatunde Ojo, Coordinator, Ifedore Federal Constituency; Akah Ebimiyeweik, coordinator, Ese-Odo Constituency, and Hon. Akinwunmi, coordinator, Odigbo Constituency; amongst others.
