No fewer than three Nigerian men have been charged for sexually extorting over 100 minors and adults in Michigan and across the United States.
The men were Samuel Ogoshi, 22; Samson Ogochi, 20; and 19-year-old Ezekiel Ejehem Robert.
The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan, Mark Totten, who announced the charges after the federal indictment was unsealed on Wednesday, May 3, disclosed that a 17-year-old boy, DeMay, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Department of Justice disclosed that DeMay was found dead on March 25, 2022.

According to DoJ, his death prompted an investigation by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which led to the indictment unsealed on Wednesday.
The DoJ said Samuel disguised himself using the Instagram alias “dani.robertts,” tricking Jordan into sending a nude photo of himself.
It further alleged that Samuel and his accomplices carried out the despicable ruse on more than 100 victims in U.S., adding that the defendants bought hacked social media accounts and used them to pose as young women to lure teenage and young adult males into sexual chats.
