A man and three women have sustained injuries in a gas explosion in the Agege area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred beside the Apostolic Church in Agege in the wee hours of Monday, June 26.
The explosion was said to have erupted from a gas shop following leakage from one of the cylinders.
Confirming the incident, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, said rescuers were able to contain the ensuing inferno from escalating to adjourning shops and nearby buildings.
