Few days after joining the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), four members of the Kano State House of Assembly have rejoined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The lawmakers, including Hon. Kabiru Ismail who represents Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso’s constituency, Madobi, announced they have rejoined the APC.

The latest development was disclosed via a statement issued on Wednesday morning by the Kano State Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba.

Garba noted that a member representing Dawakin Kudu Local Government, Hon. Mu’azzam El-Yakubu has also dumped the NNPP for the APC.

He added that the members of the state and National Assemblies, who earlier defected to the NNPP, are backtracking to the APC.

The statement partly read: Already member of the state legislature representing Bagwai/Shanono, Isa Ali rejoined the APC days after decamping to the NNPP.
