The Kaduna State Governor-elect, Senator Uba Sani, has promised to carry out the people’s democratic directives with focus and dedication.
The Governor-elect made this known when he received a delegation of eight political party gubernatorial candidates who contested against him in the just-concluded governorship poll to congratulate him over his victory in Kaduna on Sunday.
The eight gubernatorial candidates, who visited Sani were from AA, PRP, NRM, SDP, APP, ADC, RM, and Accord.
Sani stated that he will govern for all the people of Kaduna State without discrimination for continued progress, peace, and prosperity of the state.
“Kaduna state needs all of us and as leaders, we need unity to be able to move forward,” he noted.
The Governor-elect said the people of Kaduna State have given him their mandate to lead in serving them for the next four years, believing that he will unite everyone.

Sani also thanked all the gubernatorial candidate for expressing their readiness to work with him and urged them to reach out to everyone, irrespective of differences, to move the state forward and strengthen the path to development.
The senator noted that the eight political party manifestos were similar with his, adding that they will work closely for the development of the state.
“I am not going to take your support for granted because I believe that all of you have all it takes to move Kaduna state forward,” Sani added.
The candidates all pledged to support and go into partnership with Sani just as they expressed their readiness to work with the Governor-elect for the development of the state.
They all noted that after elections, there is the need to find a way of uniting the people of the state to ensure continuous development.
Meanwhile, Sani also received a delegation of members of Progressive Pastors Forum on a similar visit.
He also appreciated them for the visit and assured that he would work with everyone.
“As leaders we have the responsibility to carry everyone along and be treated equally,” Sani said.
