Paris Saint-Germain superstars, Lionel Messi and Neymar, were booed with every touch of the ball by PSG fans in Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash against Bordeaux following their 3-1 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid last Wednesday.
The match against Bordeaux on Sunday was the first game since PSG were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League.
The French giants were dumped out of the Champions League in sensational circumstances on Wednesday, losing 2-3 aggregate after having won the first leg match 1-0.
A sensational 17-minute hat-trick from Karim Benzema was enough to break PSG hearts after Kylian Mbappe had fired the French giants into an early lead.
Mbappe had put the Ligue 1 leaders 2-0 up on aggregate with a cool finish in the first half.

Karim Benzema, however, scored a breathtaking hat-trick, the second and third of which came inside the space of just 106 seconds, to book Real Madrid’s quarter-final berth.
It was another failing in Europe’s premier club competition for PSG, who have not tasted success in the competition despite securing their major Qatar-backed takeover in 2011.
However, PSG hosted Bordeaux on Sunday for the first match since that encounter, with Messi and Neymar booed and whistled with every touch of the ball.
In contrast, star striker Kylian Mbappe and other PSG teammates were not booed by the home fans.
Every time Mbappe, who is set to leave the club this summer as a free agent with contract talks at a standstill, touched the ball, there were notable cheers and applause from the PSG fans.
Messi and Neymar were singled out for the criticism, with fans turning their ire on the effort and application during their time with the club.
Both South American superstars were largely anonymous during Wednesday night’s collapse in Madrid and their roles at PSG have now been called into question by the PSG fans.
