Cyril Mudiagbe, an aide of the Deputy Senate President and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, has been shot dead.
It was gathered that Mudiagbe was killed on Saturday night by unknown gunmen in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was further learnt that the senator’s aide was shot dead at his residence in the Decima area of the town.

A resident of the area, who identified himself as Lucky, disclosed that the gunmen “came to rob”.
“They first went to the plaza opposite the house before coming to this place,” he said.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright, said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.
