The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested a man for stealing N600,000 offerings in a church in Osun State.
The command disclosed this while parading the suspect alongside 18 others in the state on Tuesday.
The command’s spokesman, DSP Sunday Abutu, said the suspect already confessed to the crime, adding that he would be arraigned after the completion of investigation.

He said the 18 other suspects were arrested for offences such as kidnapping, armed robbery, cultism, attempted murder, burglary, and conspiracy.
Abutu said the suspects were among those terrorising the people of the state, noting that their arrests were made possible using information provided by residents of the state.
He listed Items recovered from the suspects to include two big power generating sets, shoes, clothes, and cash.
Abutu assured that the suspects would all be arraigned at the completion of investigation.
