One hundred and twenty-one students will graduate with First Class as the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, holds its 12th anniversary and 10th convocation ceremonies on Friday.
The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Smaranda Olarinde, said this on Monday while addressing newsmen ahead of the ceremonies.

Olarinde said out of the 1,673 students expected to graduate, 225 students would be awarded postgraduate degrees, and the other 1,448 bachelor degrees, in various disciplines in the institution.
The Vice Chancellor said that 666 students would be graduating in the Second Class Upper division; 489 in the Second Class Lower division; and 70 Third Class.
She said that honorary doctorate degrees would be conferred on former Ekiti State Governor Segun Oni, human rights and constitutional lawyer, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) and the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Garba El-Kanemi, in recognition of their impacts in the society.
