Popular South African Rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, well known as AKA, has been shot dead.
It was gathered that AKA was shot dead on Florida Road on Friday night.
Some persons in two cars were said to have opened fire on the rapper at about 10 p.m. on Friday.
AKA, who was meant to celebrate his birthday at the YUGO nightclub located in Stamford Hill in Durban, South Africa, was killed in a drive-by outside a restaurant on Florida Road.

It was learned that the famous rapper, his bodyguard, and another unknown person, who was said to be a close friend of the singer, were standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was shot dead.
It was gathered that his bodyguard was wounded, while the other person was also killed.
AKA was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa.
The popular rapper rose to prominence with the release of his single ‘Victory Lap’, which was featured on his debut album Altar Ego in 2011.
He gained recognition in Nigeria after releasing hit single titled, ‘Fela in Versace’.
