Former United States President, Donald Trump, is under arrest after surrendering to prosecutors in the district attorney’s office and being taken into custody at Manhattan’s Criminal Court building.
Trump is awaiting arraignment, during which his indictment will be unsealed and the charges read.
The former President has entered the courtroom on the 15th floor of the Manhattan Criminal Courts building, where his arraignment will begin shortly.
He did not address the media as he entered the room.
Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury last week in a case stemming from a 2016 hush-money payment to porn star, Stormy Daniels.
