A worshipper, David Udoh, has debunked reports that miracles performed by God through the founder of Grace Nation Church International, Dr Chris Okafor, are fake.
Udoh also condemned the allegation describing Okafor as a fake prophet, saying he was convinced of the cleric’s prophecy after an encounter with the pastor.
The worshipper said this recently at the church’s auditorium in the Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos State.
He said: “The most amazing thing about the encounter with the man of God was that he seemed to know so much about me and my family.
“I just could not understand how someone I had never met, nor told anything would know so much about me and my family. I told myself that that could only happen by the power of the Holy Spirit who we are told in the book of Daniel ‘reveals deep and secret things and He knows what is in darkness and the light dwells with Him’.
“Dr Chris Okafor began by telling me about my father – a policeman – who was at home, and wasn’t even present at the service. That was the first shocker for me.

“He went further to tell me about a trip my father was set to embark on to our village to conclude a matter concerning a contentious piece of land, and how he was in danger of not returning alive if he persisted on taking over the land which was rightly his, anyway.
“These were deep things that only persons close to me or my family could know. I was not only taken aback by the uncanny accuracy of Dr Chris Okafor’s prophecy, I was impressed.
“After that personal encounter, it will be difficult for anybody to convince me that Dr Chris Okafor is a false prophet, or that miracles done by God through his hands are fake. As a matter of fact, I consider anybody referring to the man of God as a false prophet or the miracles that God does through him, cursed. That’s my opinion.
“This is because I witnessed the raw power of God as he laid hands on me and delivered me from battles that have seemed to stagnate me and members of my family for years.”
The worshipper continued: “And on the strength of that very divine encounter, I made two decisions immediately. I vowed to bring everyone related to me to Grace Nation.
“In fact, I brought my sister to church last Sunday, May 12, 2024. I told her to stop her present church and join us because Grace Nation is the place to be.
“The second decision is that I am joining any of the service units to be a full-time worker for God for His mercies over my life. I cannot thank God enough for all His grace upon my life.
“Do you know that I had a fatal motorbike accident a day before that very encounter with God at Grace Nation? The Okada rider died on the spot while I survived enough to go to church the next day.”
