Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted no fewer than three persons at the Innoson showroom in the Nnewi area of Anambra State.
The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the abduction on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Ikenga disclosed that the victims were kidnapped at the Innoson motorcycle showroom on Owerri Road in Nnewi on Tuesday evening.
Ikenga said the Anambra State Police Command and the security Joint Task Force (JTF) have launched a rescue operation for abducted victims.

He said the command had initiated an operation for the abductees’ rescue, adding that police operatives had visited the scene of the incident and obtained useful information to assist the investigation.
The police spokesman urged anyone with useful information that could aid the investigation to come to the command’s headquarters in Awka, the Anambra State capital, or the nearest police station.
Ikenga added that persons with information on the abduction could call the toll-free emergency number 112.
