The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has spoken about an AI-generated image showing him dressed in Islamic attire.

An X user, @Sarkideyforyou, had posted image showing Adeboye in front of Kaabah, a religious place of worship for Muslims in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

“Pastor Adeboye may Allah guide you to the right path,” he captioned the picture.

Speaking during the first Holy Ghost Night of the year on Saturday, January 4, Pastor Adeboye acknowledged the image with a smile, saying: “I’m sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an alhaji.”

The cleric added that the first 30 days of the 100-day fast of the RCCG will be dedicated to praying for Nigeria.

He said the church will embark on some violent prayers that will uproot those who don’t want Nigeria to prosper.

Pastor Adeboye said the year 2025 will be a time when the scripture, the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violence that takes it by force will be fulfilled.

Adeboye declares 2025 ‘A Landmark Year’, speaks on prophecies

While urging those who are above the age of 70 to stay away from the 100-day fast, Adeboye said if they insist on fasting they should break their fast by 3 p.m., and 12 noon for those above 80.

He urged those above 90 to stay away from the fast because according to him they are at the departure lounge of life.

Adeboye also urged those who are going to fast to make sure they pray in the course of the fast otherwise they would have embarked on ‘hunger strike’.

According to Church Times, he also enjoined them to refrain from frivolous conversation during the fasting period.

Referring to his 2025 prophecy, the cleric said the wind will blow stronger in the new year, saying: “One of the implications is that there will be quite a lot of lifting up and some remarkable promotion. The day someone has been waiting for will occur this year. There will be many wedding bells.”
