Popular political activist and convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, says the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would encourage looting and corruption, following the exorbitant fees for the party’s nomination forms.
The Star had earlier reported that the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday, pegged the party’s nomination forms at N100m for the president, Senate at N20 million and governorship forms at N50 million.
However, Adeyanju, while reacting to the development, said the fees for the APC’s nomination forms would encourage corruption.
The activist stated that the ruling party’s flag bearers in the 2023 general election would only loot and fail to serve.
He further expressed concern over the change APC promised Nigerians during the party’s campaigns in 2015.

Adeyanju, who is a strong critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, said: “APC fees for nomination forms are outrageous and will encourage corruption.
“It is unreasonable to charge Senate – N20m; Governorship – N50m; Presidential – N100m.
“This means everyone is going to loot and not to serve. Where’s the 2015 Change that was promised,” he stated.
