A Junior Secondary School (JSS) student of Beulah International School in Akwa Ibom State, Kentimfon Ndanyongmong, has emerged as the winner of the 2023 Heirs Life Essay Championship.
Ndanyongmong will receive a grand prize of N2 million worth of scholarship, while his school will be granted N500,000 cash for library supplies.
This was contained in a statement made available to The Star by Heirs Life Assurance Limited on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
Samuel John of Knightdale Middle College in Lagos emerged as the runner-up, winning a cash prize of N150,000.

Ameenah Jimeta of Prime College in Kano, who occupied the third position, will be rewarded with N100,000 cash.
The company congratulated the winners for their exceptional performance, noting that all participants will receive an honorary certificate presented to their schools in acknowledgment of their hard work and passion.
“Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s competition – we appreciate your drive and we hope to see you succeed in the next edition of the Heirs Life Essay Championship,” it added.
