APC replaces deputy national chair, women leader, NWC members

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the names of some leaders to fill vacant National Working Committee (NWC) and zonal positions of the party.

The announcement was made by the APC National Secretary, Sen. Ajibola Basiru, at a press briefing on the outcome of the NWC meeting held at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

Those appointed by the party are Ali Bukar Dalori from Borno State as the Deputy National Chairman, North (North-East Zone); Garba Datti Muhammad from Kaduna State as the National Vice Chairman, North West; while Prof. Abdul Karim Abubakar Kana from Nasarawa State was named the National Legal Adviser (North Central Zone).

Donatus Nwankpa from Abia State emerged as the National Welfare Secretary (South East Zone); Mary Alile Idele from Edo State was appointed as the National Women Leader (South South Zone); Duro Meseko from Kogi State was named the Deputy National Publicity Secretary (North Central Zone); while Ikani Shuaibu Okolo from Kogi State was appointed as the Zonal Organising Secretary (North Central Zone).
