Nigerian skit maker, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel, fondly called Brain Jotter, says he was earning N15,000 and N30,000 monthly as a laundry man between 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Brain Jotter said he also sold insecticide and doughnuts to support his schooling at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The skit maker said this in a recent interview on Hip TV.
The Imo State-born comedian added that things changed for him through skit-making when he got to his third year in UNILAG.
Brain Jotter said: “In 2020, my salary was N15,000. By 2021, it had doubled to N30,000.

“I was working in a laundry after just gaining admission. Alongside the laundry job, I explored various other ventures.
“In my first year, I sold doughnuts in class. In the second year, I sold bedbug killer at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), and in my third year, I drove to school.
“Ever since my video went viral, I can’t go five days without working. I’ve been restless from that day until now,” he said.
“This restlessness and the experience of earning little money have taught me how to appreciate the value of my purchases.”
Brain Jotter began his career in the showbiz industry during his undergraduate days at UNILAG, where he studied Business Administration.
He started as a stand-up comedian but later diversified into online content-making.
