Buhari, Tinubu exchange Eid-el-Fitr greetings

President Muhammadu Buhari and the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on Friday, April 21, exchanged Eid-el-Fitr greetings in a phone call to mark the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, made the disclosure via a statement issued on Friday.

Shehu noted that Buhari and Tinubu thanked God for seeing the day and prayed for the stability and well-being of the country.

The presidential spokesman added that President Buhari expressed his readiness to welcome Tinubu to the State House as President on May 29, 2023.
