Burna Boy mocks Davido over daughter’s custody

Grammy Award-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, well known as Burna Boy, has thrown a jab at his colleague, David Adeleke, fondly called Davido, over the custody of the latter’s 9-year-old daughter, Imade.

The Star recalls that Davido recently filed a suit against Imade’s daughter, Sophia Momodu, at the Lagos State High Court over the custody of their daughter.

Momodu, in a counter-affidavit filed in opposition to Davido’s suit, told the court sitting in the Yaba area of Lagos on Friday, July 5, 2024, not to grant the child’s custody to the musician.

Momodu said Davido was not fit to be granted custody of their daughter because he is always not available and does not possess the ability to dutifully care for her.

The musician later said he only demanded joint custody of his daughter.

Taking to X on Saturday morning, Burna Boy wrote: “‘Odogwu too wise’ who no hear go FEEL.”

An X user, @BadLieutenant, on the comment section, enjoined Burna Boy to emulate Davido by getting married.

He wrote: “Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family.

“OBO has already set an example. You’re over 33 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger.”

Responding, Burna Boy stated: “Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg, u nor see wetin him dey face like dis?”

Another user, @RealDreylo, thereafter, wrote: “You can’t even answer a question like a reasonable person LOL just big head and plenty beards.”

An X user, @sunofoba, stated: “Adekunle Gold na better example?😂”
