Nigerian singers – Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems, Yemi Alade, Asake, and Davido – have been nominated for the 2025 Grammy Awards.
The popular singers were nominated for the ‘Best African Music Performance’ at the Grammy Awards.
The nominees for the 67th award ceremony were announced on Friday, November 8, 2024.

Burna Boy earned a nomination for his song – ‘Higher’; Yemi Alade – ‘Tomorrow’; Davido – ‘Sensational’ feat. Chris Brown and Lojay; Asake and Wizkid – ‘MMS’; and Tems – ‘Love Me JeJe’
Tems was also nominated in the ‘Best R&B Song’ category alongside Ronald Banful for the song ‘Burning’.
The singer earned her third nomination in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ for her project ‘Born In The Wild’. Also in the category is Nigerian singer Rema for ‘Heis’ album.
