The Edo State Government has directed all public and private schools in the state to resume the 2024/25 academic session on September 30, 2024.
The Edo State Government made this known in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary at the State Ministry of Education, Ojo Akin-Longe, on Sunday, September 22.
The directive comes after an earlier postponement of the resumption date, initially slated for September 9.
Longe, who stated that a fake notification had been circulating that schools in Edo State would reopen on Monday, September 23, urged parents and guardians to disregard the false information.
