Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti has appointed Mr. Yinka Oyebode as his Chief Press Secretary.
The Head of Service, Mr. Bamidele Agbede, in a statement on Sunday, said the appointment is with immediate effect.

Oyebode’s appointment is the first made by Governor Oyebanji.
Oyebode served the outgone Governor Kayode Fayemi in the same capacity for two terms.
The versatile journalist, who earlier worked with The Punch and The Nation newspapers, also served as Media Adviser to Fayemi as Minister of Mineral Development.
The new governor was sworn in on Sunday in Ado-Ekiti.
Oyebanji replaced Fayemi.
