Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has appointed Prof. Abdullahi Musa as the Vice-Chancellor of the Kaduna State University (KASU).
The state government made this known via a statement issued on Wednesday.
It noted that the appointment of Musa, who is currently the Librarian of the university, followed the recommendation of five candidates by the KASU Governing Council.
Prof. Abdullahi Musa holds a Ph.D. in Library Science from Emporia University, Kansas, and an MBA from Bayero University, Kano.
He got his first degree in Library Science from BUK and a master’s in Library Science from ABU where he also headed the Department of Library and Information Science.
