The All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates in Kaduna State on Sunday reaffirmed their support for power shift to the South.
The delegates spoke in Kaduna during a visit of one of the presidential aspirants and outgoing Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, who came to solicit for their support.
The delegates repeatedly said yes were asked three times by Governor Nasir El-Rufai whether they supported power shift in the interest of justice and fairness.

El-Rufai, who disclosed that he fended off pressures to buy a presidential form, explained that he believes that power should shift to the South for justice and fairness.
The governor said that he has long made public his position on power shift.
Responding to comments from Senator Ali Ndume, the director-general of Amaechi’s campaign and the presidential aspirant, El-Rufai acknowledged the friendship they share and the contributions Amaechi made to ensuring the victory of the APC in 2015.
El-Rufai noted that Kaduna State delegates would listen to all presidential aspirants who seek to engage them.
