Denmark midfielder, Christian Eriksen, has verbally agreed to join Manchester United on a three-year contract.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, made the disclosure via a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle on Monday.
Romano tweeted: “Manchester United are set to sign Christian Eriksen, here we go! Full verbal agreement in place, as first called by @David_Ornstein.
“Communication sent to both Man United and Brentford today morning.
“Contract until June 2025, waiting for signature and medical.”
He added: “Christian Eriksen will sign three year deal with Manchester United this week, medical already scheduled. Eriksen has already direct talk with Erik ten Hag, key factor.

“Man Utd are working to announce both Malacia and Eriksen as new signings this week.”
The 30-year-old midfielder is a free agent after spending three months with Brentford following his recovery from a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark during the European Championship in June 2021.
Man United have since been negotiating with FC Barcelona for Dutch midfielder, Frenkie de Jong.
Erik ten Hag coached the 25-year-old at Ajax and feels the midfielder will be an important part of the rebuild he is undertaking at Old Trafford.
The acquisition of a box-to-box midfielder has been a focus for the newly-appointed Dutchman, who oversaw his first training session as Red Devils manager on Monday.
The club has struggled for midfield control and balance in recent years, while the departure on free transfers of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic have weakened their options.
The duo were among a number of high-profile departures this summer as Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard, and Juan Mata also left at the end of their deals.
