Ex-BBNaija housemate, Rico Swavey, dies after road crash

A former Big Brother Naija Season 3 housemate, Patrick Fakoya, well known as Rico Swavey, has been confirmed dead after he was involved in a ghastly motor accident.

The death of Rico Swavey was disclosed via a tweet shared by the host of the reality TV show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on his verified Twitter handle on Thursday.

“The actual warmest human being. This is truly heartbreaking. Rest in Peace Rico,” he tweeted.

The Star had reported that the lawyer was involved in the accident on Tuesday morning.

His fellow Big Brother Naija ex-housemate, Alex Asogwa, popular known as Alex Unusual, disclosed the incident via her Twitter handle.

“Good morning sweethearts. Please put Rico Swavey in your prayers today.

“He was involved in a ghastly accident hours ago and the doctors are still trying to resuscitate him as I just left the hospital. It’s really critical. I’m staying positive,” Asogwa had said.
