The former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Konga, Nick Imudia, has committed suicide at his residence in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that Imudia committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki on Tuesday evening.
Though it could not be ascertained why the businessman committed suicide, it was learnt that the former Konga CEO, before his death, reportedly made a call to his United States-based brother to give him instructions on how to distribute his wealth.
He was also said to have called his young daughter to inform her that he would always be there for her.
Imudia’s death was confirmed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

Hundeyin disclosed that the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has commenced an investigation into Imudia’s death.
Until his death, Imudia was the CEO of D.light, a leading innovator in residential solar energy solutions.
Imudia, who hailed from the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, was the CEO of Konga from 2018 to 2022.
Prior to joining Konga, he held positions as Regional Director at TCL/Alcatel and General Manager at Microsoft Device and Services for West and Central Africa.
