A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, and the spokesperson of the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation and ex-senator, Dino Melaye, have taken to recording skits to mock each other on social media.
Fani-Kayode and Melaye have since been engaging in a war of words after the former senator’s statement on the emergence of Dr Iyorchia Ayu as the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Melaye, who represented Kogi West Senatorial District in the 8th Senate, had said all the governors elected on the platform of the PDP spent money at the party’s National Convention in Abuja to elect Ayu as national chairman.
Reacting, Fani-Kayode asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to suspend Ayu just as he also called on security operatives to arrest Melaye for revealing that the election that installed Ayu was a criminal offence.
In a new twist, the spokesperson of the PDP presidential candidate shared a skit on his Instagram page on Tuesday with the caption, “I will not invite FFK for dinner”.

Three men were seen in the video begging Dino Melaye to invite Fani-Kayode for dinner.
Speaking in the video, the former senator said: “Me, invite FFK for a dinner? No no no no, I am not going to bankroll anybody o.”
In his reaction, Fani-Kayode posted a video on his Instagram page, telling his security aides that Melaye is among those not allowed in his house.
The two aides had approached the former minister, informing him about a guest waiting to see him. When he was told that Melaye was the guest, Fani-Kayode said the Atiku’s campaign spokesman is an unwanted guest in his house.
“Read the signboard: pigs cannot enter!” the former minister captioned the video.
