The Management of the Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) in Katsina State has announced cut off marks for applicants seeking admission into the University for the 2022/2023 academic session.
The university’s Registrar, Malam Iliyasu Falalu, said that the Post-UTME screening is scheduled to hold between January 9 and 13, 2023.
A statement issued by the varsity states: “This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose Federal University Dutsin-Ma as their first choice institution for 2022/2023 session admission to register online for the Post-UTME screening exercise.
“The UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 140 in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) except in the following Programmes whose minimum cut-off points are as follows.

“A minimum of 150 points in Accounting, Economics and Development Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Library and Information Science.
“A minimum of 160 points is required for all courses in the Faculty of Health Sciences and all courses in the Faculty of Engineering.
“However, the DE candidates must have at least, Lower Credit at National Diploma, a minimum of nine points at National Certificate in Education (NCE) and a minimum of overall score of six points (with at least one point in all the courses taken) at IJMB.”
It added that the Post-UTME candidates were expected to visit http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admssions to register and make a payment of N2,000 only for the screening.
“The registration will commence from Dec. 21, 2022, to Jan. 12, 2023 at 12 midnight. Date and time for screening of each candidate will be indicated on the acknowledgement slip.
“Candidates are to note that the Post-UTME Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted after which successful candidates will proceed for physical screening,” it said.
