A branch of the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) in the Mararaba area of Nasarawa State has been gutted by fire.
The GTBank is located along the Nyanya-Mararaba Expressway before Abacha Road, Karu.
Mararaba is a border town between the FCT and Nasarawa State.
It was gathered that the inferno, which was put out at about 8 a.m. on Friday, was caused by a power surge from the inverter system.
