Fire guts Lagos airport building

Fire has gutted the E-Arrival Finger of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State.

It was gathered that the fire outbreak led to a power outage at the airport on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

An eyewitness disclosed the incident caused panic among workers and passengers at the airport as travellers hastily left the building which was engulfed by smoke for the departure hall.

Normal operations, however, commenced at the terminal after the fire was put out by firefighters.
