Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Flutterwave Inc., Oneal Bhambani, has resigned from the Africa’s largest startup.
His exit is coming less than two years after joining the payment company.
Bhambani, a former American Express executive, in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday, disclosed his exit from Flutterwave last week.
He said he will be going to India where he is “taking a breath to reconnect with old friends and colleagues”.

Flutterwave is a Lagos and San Francisco-based financial technology company.
The startup is currently preparing for an initial public offers amid allegations of financial impropriety in Kenya.
The startup’s account was frozen last year by the Kenyan High Court under anti-money laundering rules.
The company has a valuation of $3 billion.
