FULL LIST: Burna Boy, Asake, Rema nominated for Headies Best Male Artiste of the Year Award

Popular Nigerian singers, Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, Divine Ikubor, fondly called Rema, and Ahmed Ololade, well known as Asake, have been nominated for the 2023 Headies Best Male Artiste of the Year Award.

The organisers of one of Nigeria’s most prestigious music awards, The Headies, made the declaration in the early hours of Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Other singers shortlisted for the award alongside Burna Boy, Asake, and Rema were Kizz Daniel, Ruger, and Omah Lay.

The organisers also listed late singer Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi, widely known as Sultan Sultan, for “a special recognition to an individual(s) for excellence and outstanding impact to the entertainment industry.”
