Gov Idris mourns Kebbi district head

Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has condoled the Emir of Gwandu, Muhammad Iliyasu Bashar, and the family of the District Head of Koko, Mohammed Bello Salihu Koko, who passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023.

Idris stated this in a condolence message to the emirate and the deceased family on Friday.

The governor, who prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, also prayed to God to make Jannatil Firdaus his final home.

He urged the emirate, his immediate family, and the people of Koko to take heart and accept the will of God in good faith.

Governor Idris also enjoined them to keep praying to Allah to grant the District Head internal rest.

Idris said the deceased would be remembered for his active contributions towards ensuring peace and national unity amongst his subjects and the state at large.
