The governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahaman AbdulRazak, has been appointed as the chairman of the 8-member zoning committee for the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention slated for March 26, 2022.
The latest development was disclosed in a statement signed by the National Secretary of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Sen. John Akpanudodehe, on Wednesday.
He stated that the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, was appointed as the deputy chairman of the zoning committee, while the deputy governor of Anambra State, Nkem Okeke, was appointed as the secretary.

Those appointed as members of the committee are Prof. Etim Nyong, Dr. MB Shehu, Mustapha Salihu, Sen. Teslim Folarin, and Sadeeq Sule-Iko Sami.
Akpanudodehe noted that the zoning committee would submit its report on March 7, 2022.
