Gunmen kidnap police officer in Kwara

Gunmen have abducted an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Abdulmumini Yusuf, serving at the Area Command in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Yusuf was said to have been kidnapped by the gunmen on Tuesday night when he was about to enter his house in the Ogidi area of Ilorin, the state capital.

His abduction was confirmed by the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama, on Thursday, saying: “Yes, it’s true, but we are still on it.”
