Gunmen have killed two travellers and abducted five others on Ifon/Owo Road in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
A man, who did not want his name mentioned in the community, disclosed that the vehicle was coming from the South-Eastern part of the country with the passengers heading to Owo axis on Friday night when the incident occurred.
He said the driver of the attacked commercial vehicle and a female passenger were shot dead at the scene of the incident, while some passengers were whisked away.
It was gathered that some passengers of the vehicle escaped with various degrees of injuries.

The incident was confirmed by the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Fumilayo Odunlami-Omisanyan, on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Odunlami-Omisanyan said the police command was yet to ascertain the number of passengers in the attacked vehicle.
She added that policemen had been deployed, combing the area to ensure that the kidnapped victims were rescued.
