‘He’s alive’: Irabor debunks Olu Jacobs’ death rumour

A Nigerian columnist, Betty Irabor, has debunked rumours claiming the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Oludotun Jacobs.

Irabor, in a post on her social media accounts on Sunday, June 30, said Jacobs is “well and alive”.

“Olu Jacob is well and alive. Please ignore all rumours of his passing. He is alive please,” she wrote.

This is not the first time rumours about Jacobs’ death will trend online.

The former spokesperson of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Monalisa Chinda-Coker, later debunked the news.

In August 2022, there was also a rumour concerning the actor’s death.

His wife, Joke, later debunked the news and threatened legal action against those spreading the information.
