Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has ordered the immediate closure of all brothels harbouring criminals in the state.

Bello also banned the wearing of face masks in public places for proper identification in the state.

He gave the order in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital on Tuesday during a meeting with traditional leaders and including local government council chairmen across the 21 LGA of the state.

Governor Bello equally ordered the removal and demolition of shanties in Lokoja, Osara, Zango, Itobe, Obajana Okaba, and all other areas in the state.
