Jonathan visits Tinubu after Supreme Court victory

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, on Friday, October 27, 2023, visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Jonathan’s visit comes about 24 hours after the Supreme Court affirmed Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election.

The Supreme Court had, on Thursday, dismissed petitions filed by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), challenging Tinubu’s election.

The reason for Jonathan’s visit to Tinubu however remained unknown as of the time of filing this report.
