The Kaduna State Government has commenced discussion with a renowned financial consulting firm, Deloitte Nigeria, to assist the state in boosting its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday, June 8, by the Chief Press Secretary to Kaduna State Governor, Muhammad Shehu.
Shehu, who disclosed that Kaduna IGR stood at N58.1 billion in 2022, stated that at the meeting to mark the commencement of the partnership on Wednesday, Governor Uba Sani reiterated his commitment to boosting the IGR in order to achieve sustainable growth and development of the state.

Sani expressed optimism that the firm will fashion out strategies that will help achieve the set goal.
The governor added that with the collaborative efforts of all the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), the strategies will be successfully implemented and lead to the desired increased revenue generation for the sustainable growth and development of Kaduna State.
