The Katsina State Government has announced the closure of public and private schools across the state from Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
This was announced via a statement issued by the Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education spokesperson, Sani Danjuma-Suleiman, on Tuesday, July 30.
The statement read: “This is to inform the public, especially parents and guardians that all schools are to be closed by tomorrow, Wednesday, for the beginning of the third term holidays.

“Therefore, all parents are advised to make sure their children, especially those at boarding schools are picked up and returned back home.
“Note that this schools’ closure also involves private and community schools across the state.”
The planned nationwide protest over economic hardship in the country is scheduled to commence on Thursday, August 1.
