An abducted community leader in Igasi Akoko in the Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Chief Ojo Ajaguna, has regained freedom after his abductors reportedly slept off.
The community leader was kidnapped by gunmen last Friday.
However, a resident of the community, who spoke to newsmen on Sunday, disclosed that Ajaguna has regained freedom after his abductors slept off.
The resident, who declined to be named, said the community has been thrown into jubilation following Ajaguna’s freedom.

“The community leader regained his freedom when the assailants slept off in the forest.
“The entire Igasi Akoko community was excited when he came back.” he disclosed.
Confirming the development, the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, said: “Yes, it was reported to us that the victim was abducted, but he came back home safely and we have commenced investigation into the matter.”
