KWASU completes 2024/25 undergraduate admission process

The Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has announced that the 2024/2025 admission process into undergraduate programmes has been completed.

The KWASU Acting Director of University Relations, Dr Saeedat Aliyu, announced this in a statement on Monday, November 25, 2024.

Aliyu said the notice aimed to prevent members of the public from falling victim to fraud.

Aliyu emphasised that academic activities are already underway at the institution, indicating that admission had closed.

The KWASU spokesperson stated: “The university management has urged the public to disregard messages from unknown individuals on social media or via personal messages, claiming to offer assistance with admission.

“These messages are fraudulent and do not originate from the university management.”

Aliyu warned the public to beware of unscrupulous individuals who prey on the needs of prospective students.

“The university utilises official channels and signed statements from authorised officers to disseminate information to the public,” Aliyu added.
