The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has reaccredited the Accounting Programme of the Lagos State University (LASU) for another period of three years.
This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the LASU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello.
Olatunji-Bello noted that the reaccreditation of the programme was done by ICAN after satisfying the stipulated guidelines which led to the successful conduct of the exercise.

She said the reaccreditation would cover the 2020/2021 to 2023/2024 academic sessions.
“I congratulate the Head, Department of Accounting, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, and the entire university for the feat.
“I also want to thank the Lagos State Government for supporting the university to make the accreditation exercise a huge success.
“This development further fulfils the first strategic goal of the current administration, which is to ensure that academic and professional programmes are and remain accredited by the relevant bodies,” the Vice-Chancellor stated.
