A lecturer and the deputy dean in the Faculty of Food and Consumer Sciences, Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH), Oyo State, Dr. Islamiyat Folashade Bolarinwa, has won two grants totalling £182,442 from Innovative UK.
The purpose of the first grant of £29,726 which runs between October 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023, is to increase the availability of high-protein foods and reduce protein-energy malnutrition.

The second grant of £152,715, running from April 2023 to July 2024, is to serve the purpose of reducing post-harvest losses of food crops and increase food security.
They are both under the Knowledge Transfer Partnership.
