The Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, SAN, on Friday, got married to Nana Hadiza, the daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari.
It was gathered that the private Nikkai ceremony was held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Hadiza, who now becomes the third wife of Malami, is President Buhari’s daughter from a previous marriage.
The bride had once been married to Abdulrahman Mamman Kurfi and had six children before the marriage ended in a divorce.
A reliable source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “It’s true, the Attorney-General is now officially an in-law of Mr President.
“He got married to Hadiza, one of Baba’s daughters from his late first wife, Safinatu.

“The Nikkai was performed after the Jumat in the State House mosque and not many people witnessed it.
“It was meant to be a private ceremony, so journalists couldn’t have been part of it,” the source disclosed.
Confirming the development, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said: “It is true. The AGF got married to the President’s daughter.”
Malami was appointed as AGF and Minister of Justice after President Buhari won the 2015 presidential election.
He was re-appointed on August 21, 2019.
