Man U star, Ronaldo, loses son

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, on Monday, announced that his newborn son has passed away.

Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, said they were expecting twins at the end of October 2021.

The 37-year-old, on Easter Monday, stated: “It is with deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away.”

He, however, announced the birth of a baby girl via his social media accounts.

The Portuguese star wrote: “It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.

“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live in this moment with some hope and happiness.

“We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.

“We are all devastated at this loss, and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time.

“Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you,” Ronaldo stated.

Manchester United, therefore, commiserated with Ronaldo over the demise of his son via a post shared on Twitter on Monday evening.

The club statement read: “Your pain is our pain, Cristiano. Sending love and strength to you and the family at this time.”
