Many trapped in Anambra building collapse

A yet-to-be-identified number of persons may have been trapped in a five-storey building that collapsed at Fegge in the Onitsha area of Anambra State.

It was gathered that the building under construction collapsed in the early hours of Sunday, March 10, 2024.

The reason for the building collapse has yet to be ascertained but an excavator has been moved to the scene of the incident to begin the evacuation of rubbles and possible rescue operations of any trapped victims.

5 die in Anambra building collapse

The Anambra State Police Command and the State Emergency Management Agency have yet to speak on the incident as of press time.
